“He is transcended above occupying a body [hulūl] and transition in space,
And above the abandoned speech of him who has abandoned truth.”
The Allamah said concerning 'transcended above occupying a body': "Meaning: above unification with physical forms (al-abdān), even if He manifests to plain sight. Space (al-ayn) means existence and time, and according to the scholars of philosophy, it is the occupation of space by a physical body... up to his saying: And what meaning would there be for transcending the Truth above transition and occupying a body, had He not manifested them both to the people of intellect—those who deduced the negation of physical forms through the affirmation of divine decree?"
And he also said:
“And he thought me an embodiment-believer [mujassidan] in describing her,
By a form through which, turning blind, he became an embodiment-believer himself.”
“While he knew not that for her Essence,
I have become divested [mujarradan] from her attributes.”
