And my master, may Allah illuminate his face, narrated to me, raised from Muhammad bin Sinan al-Zahiri, peace be upon him, from al-Mufaddal bin 'Umar, from him is peace, he said: They said, O 'Abd Allah: The Prince of the Believers passed by children playing while they were in their rooms.

So He said to them: "Who is your Lord?"

So they said: "You are the One in the Hereafter."

So He said: "Be still, for this is not the time of your speaking."

And for that reason: a child does not speak until two years pass over him.

And from the Prince of the Believers, He passed by children playing in the city.

So He said: "O children, whoever parts from you finds rest, and whoever discourses with you gives rest."

So a child among the children answered Him and said: "Yes, You parted from us while You are above us, and You gave us rest when You made us recognize Your veil."

The Prince of the Believers said: "From Me is the mercy and the locus of knowledge."
