he did not waver when his peers were shaken.
He bestowed upon it his compassion and tenderness
and within the shadow of his wing, it finds sanctuary.
Solicitous over the fertile Religion and its people
but if they rebel, then he is firmness and sternness.
With an insight whose veil God has removed
to perceive through it what the innermost soul whispers.
He encompassed all things in knowledge, yet there is
no vanity in his manner, nor any arrogance.
I swear, had he not disclaimed it himself
the great ones would have prostrated, sanctifying his glory.
Were it not for him, no banner for Your religion would be raised
and strangers would have demolished our edifices.
And if the envious one lets passion judge what I see
as truth... then in what I say, I find my solace.
I have purified my faith in what they brought
not in what the rumors chew and falsely invent.
I washed my inner soul from the filth of doubts
through loyalty to them, until it became pure white.
