Sweeter than delicious honey, however sweet it be

O Family of Eid, it suffices my heart that it is

Vehement in loyalty, and from your love it never turned away

And the Beloved recited his book with your mention

As chapters, repeating their words and chanting

And he went to extremes in your love and exceeded in passion

It is enough for the smitten that it be said he exceeded

May there ever remain among you, through the span of time

A refuge for noble deeds and for virtues

And He endowed you with the honor of guiding mankind And granted you the excellence of leadership for the people
