So that Revelation may be poured 1 through her manners
And the spring of Dhul-Qarnayn is flowing
Washing the soul of 2 its blemishes
And the wine of Faith is pressed
Circulated among the people in its goblets
Or name it—and mean by it—a vine
That transcends toward God with its grapes
Its root drinks deep from the fragrance of piety
Thus reviving the spirit with its scents
In the sunrise of inspiration is its transcendence
Beyond any likeness to its peers
What guidance has not appeared within its mantle?
Even the forenoon is wrapped in its cloak
From here it shines with its firebrands
And from here it flows with its sweet waters
Enchanting the intellect with its inimitability
And intoxicating the heart with its rapture
