for establishing their outward form is mandated upon us among the Opponents due to the obligation of concealing ourselves through them, acting in accordance with dissimulation (Taqiyya). If we were to refuse to establish them among them, that would be a breach of the veil of Taqiyya and a demolition of its wall; in that, there would be a clear violation of the commands of Allah and His Messenger, a departure from the path of the Infallible Sheikh (al-Shaykh al-Ma'sum), a divulging of the Inward Secret, and an uncovering of the Divine Veil.

If we were to intend to believe in and practice their outward forms within the private gatherings and among the believers, that would be an endorsement of the creed of the People of the Outer—such as affirming human attributes (bashariyya) and the fifteen states upon the Legatees, the Prophets, and all the Worlds of Light; praising the imams of delusion; and affirming the crucifixion of Christ, while Allah has denied that of him by His saying: {“And they did not kill him, nor did they crucify him; but [another] was made to resemble him to them.”}(Al-Nisa' 157). And other such beliefs of the People of the Outer which demolish the Inward Religion of Allah from its foundation and brand those believers who hold such [inward] beliefs as disbelievers.

Just as establishing them [the outward rites] is forbidden to us in private and among the believers for the purpose of religious practice or belief.
