Everyone who profanes it shall surely be killed; indeed, everyone who performs work in it, that soul shall be cut off from among its people. Six days work shall be done, but the seventh day is a Sabbath of rest, holy to the Lord. Everyone who performs work on the Sabbath day shall surely be killed. So the children of Israel shall keep the Sabbath, to observe the Sabbath throughout their generations as an eternal covenant. It is a sign between Me and the children of Israel forever; because in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day He rested and was refreshed."'"

And like it is his saying in the thirty-fifth chapter of the Book of Exodus: "And Moses gathered all the congregation of the children of Israel and said to them: 'These are the words which the Lord has commanded to be done: Six days work shall be done, but the seventh day shall be a holy Sabbath of rest for you to the Lord. Everyone who...'"performs work in it shall be killed. You shall not light a fire in all your dwellings on the Sabbath day.

And like it is his saying in the twentieth chapter of the (Book of Ezekiel):

"And I gave them My statutes and made known to them My judgments, which if a man does them, he shall live by them.
