associating partners with Allah the Exalted, lying against Allah (Glorified be He), and the rest of the destructive sins. Allah has informed us that their outward is forbidden and their inward is forbidden by His saying (Glorified be He) in Surah al-A'raf:

{Say, "My Lord has only forbidden immoralities—what is apparent of them and what is concealed—and sin, and oppression without right, and that you associate with Allah that for which He has not sent down authority, and that you say about Allah that which you do not know."} (Al-A'raf 33).

Esoteric explanation of the verse. Say, My Lord has only forbidden immoralities - what is apparent of them

The author of the book (Al-Safi) cited the interpretation of this noble verse on the authority of the Master Ja'far al-Sadiq (peace be upon him), that he said:

"Indeed, the Quran has a back [Zahir] and a belly [Batin]. So, all that Allah has forbidden in the Quran is the Outward, and the Inward of that is the Imams of Injustice [A'immat al-Jawr]. And all that Allah has made lawful in the Book is the Outward, and the Inward of that is the Imams of Truth [A'immat al-Haqq]."
