openly; and the belief in the transcendence of the Successors, the Prophets, and all the Worlds of Light, and the acknowledgment of each of them in their known rank and their known station—this being in your conscience, not spoken openly among the Opposites [Adad]. Measure against this all other inward Secrets [Asrar] which it is not permissible to reveal except to their own people.

As for that which is not permitted Verbally, Volitionally, nor Creedally: It is like the commission of immoralities [Fawahish] and [lewd] speech, according to the saying of our Master in his poetry:

And avoid immorality; do not speak of it

As long as you are in the seriousness of speech or its jest.

As for that which is [further] not permitted Verbally, Volitionally, nor Creedally: It is like disbelief in the Creator and the Prophets, and the praising of Iblis and the Pharaohs who are blamed outwardly and inwardly, and the praising of every disbeliever if we only name him by the name "Disbeliever"—for the disbeliever is cursed among all peoples, like the name of Iblis.
