Every analogy that does not conform to the sayings of the master Prophets is a corrupt analogy

Nevertheless, every analogy that does not match the sayings of the Masters, the Prophets, and the people of transmission is a corrupt analogy and a deviant opinion. As it was mentioned in this sense in the book (Nur al-Absar), and what was narrated in (Durar al-Asdaf) from the sayings of the Master Ja’far al-Sadiq (from him is mercy) to Abu Hanifa: "It has reached me that you use analogy in the religion, and the first who used analogy was Iblis." Abu Hanifa said: "I only use analogy in that for which I find no text."

And from what the author of the book (al-Safi) cited from (al-Kafi) on the authority of the Master al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) that he said: "Indeed, Iblis measured himself against Adam, saying: 'You created me from fire and created him from clay.'"
