Manifestations (Al-Zuhurat) are the prayers (Al-Salawat)....

Among what indicates that the manifestations are the prayers is the saying of our Sheikh al-Khasibi—may Allah support his person—in his Diwan:

And I praise Allah with a true praise, And I seal my prayer with the Eye (Ayn) alone.

That is because our Master, the Eye, is the seal of the manifestations of the Legatees, just as the Muhammadan Dome is the seal of the domes that preceded it. And just as the prayers are not confined to a number and have no end, likewise the celestial and earthly manifestations are not confined to a number and have no end. All the times of the prayers and their obligations are one person, just as the manifestation of the person and the letters of his name are all one person and one essence, likeness for likeness and weight for weight, according to the saying of our Luminous Sheikh—may Allah sanctify his secret:

If they were a thousand persons in [one], It would return to one, a return without end.

Know that the Creator, the Exalted, has mandated these inward prayers upon the believers from the moment of their response to His call,
