They are forms of sensible examples. They were named "prayer" just as the Commander of the Faithful named himself the Fig and the Olive, and as gold and silver were named by the two names of the Sun and the Moon, and as the sinful Adam was named with the name of the pure Adam, the sinful Abraham with the name of the pure Abraham, the sinful Moses with the name of the pure Moses, and as the praised Sun and Moon were named with the names of the censured Sun and Moon or the neglected Sun and Moon.

In reality, the outward prayer is other than its inward persons. If it were permissible to believe in this outward prayer just because the name "prayer" is applied to it, it would be permissible for us to believe in everyone named with the name of Muhammad, Ali, and other praised names; and it would be permissible also to believe in these earthly existences whose names are applied to the Meaning, the Name, the Gate, and all the worlds of Light.

And upon all humans and the metamorphosed beasts. It would also be permissible to believe in gold and silver because the names of the Sun and the Moon are applied to them. It would also be permissible to believe in the outward fig and olive, and in all that has been previously mentioned in this epistle of the named things which were named with the names of the celestial luminous persons.
