I said: Inform me about Al-Mash'ar al-Haram [The Sacred Waymark]? He said: The Knowledge of the Kingdom [Al-Malakut].

I said: Inform me about the Circumambulation [Tawaf] around the House? He said: Allah (the Exalted) appeared there to the people, so they seek Him there until the Day of Resurrection, circling around Him and declaring His Unity.

I said: Inform me about the Call to Prayer [Adhan] in front of the House?

He said: The Call of the Veil [Muhammad]. In another view: The Call of the Meaning [Ali].

I said: And the Iqama [Establishment of Prayer]? He said: The Call of the Gate [Salman] to the Veil [Muhammad].

I said: And the Imam who leads the people in prayer? He said: By Allah, if the people knew this station, not one would disbelieve in Allah. The Imam is the Master, the Commander of the Bees [Amir al-Nahl - Ali].

I said: Inform me about the Pigeons that fly in the Sanctuary? He said: They are the Believers who exit from the Sanctuary of Allah.
