Whoever believes in Allah must know the Truth through its laws and branches.

He [the seeker] said: I said: What is the meaning of the Sacred House of Allah? He said: Allah has no house. It is only the House of the Veil [Muhammad], in whom the Prophet appeared through Speech [al-Nutq].

I said: Then inform me about the Two Thresholds [al-Atabatayn]? He said: The persons of the Two Has [Hasan and Husayn].

I said: And the Ring [al-Halqa] on the door? He said: Ja'far bin Abi Talib.

I said: What is the Gate [al-Bab]? He said: The person of the Sin [Salman].

I said: The Staple [al-Ruzza] in which the ring is fixed? He said: Muhammad bin al-Hanafiyya.

I said: What is the Lock [al-Qufl]? He said: The person of Ali bin al-Husayn.

I said: What is the Lock-plate [al-Farasha]? He said: The person of the Mim [Muhammad].

I said: What is the Key [al-Miftah]? He said: The Qa'im [The Mahdi].

I said: What is the Kiswa [Covering], sometimes in red, sometimes in white Qubati cloth, and sometimes in the state of Ihram?
