He said: The Symbols [Sha'a'ir] are Salsal [Salman]. And Allah is the Name Mim [Muhammad]. So whoever makes Hajj to the House: meaning whoever knows the Root [Asl], which is the Meaning [Ma'na]. Or performs Umrah: [meaning] he knew the knowledge of Monotheism [Tawhid]. There is no blame upon him for walking between them. I asked: Yes, he circumambulates the two Orphans? He said: Yes.

I said: My Master, inform me about the Rituals [Munasik]? He said: They are the branches of the Hajj. Whoever performs Hajj but does not know the rituals must learn them, for they are also from the command of Allah.
