Ẓāhir], which is that which does not satisfy Allah, nor is He satisfied with them for it.

The esoteric House... its spout.... the two thresholds of the door.. the ring the door latch the Farashah (butterfly).. and the red covering.. the whiteness., exiting the state of Ihram.. entering the state of Ihram... the marble slab the Black Stone... the counted striker, the Sanctuary... the Station of Abraham Safa and Marwah the monuments. the Qanabil the two signposts...

And for the reliable youth Abu Sa'id Maymun bin al-Qasim al-Tabarani (may Allah sanctify him, and may He establish us and our believing brothers upon his straight path and benefit us with his knowledge) regarding what he clarified of the meaning of the Hajj and its rituals in the sixth chapter of the book Al-Ma'arif [The Gnosis]: Allah (Blessed and Exalted is He) said: {And [due] to Allah from the people is a pilgrimage to the House - for whoever is able to find thereto a way} (Al-Imran 97) from among the believers. And He (Mighty and Majestic) said: {And proclaim to the people the Hajj; they will come to you on foot} (Al-Hajj 27).

The Master Messenger (peace be upon him) said: "Perform Hajj before you are unable to perform Hajj."

And we narrated it from al-Asbagh bin Nubata, who said: I asked Abu al-Haytham Malik bin al-Tayyihan about the saying of Allah the Exalted: {And [due] to Allah from the people is a pilgrimage to the House - for whoever is able to find thereto a way} (Al-Imran 97) from among the believers?
