One should not waver, nor should opinions shift within him, nor should desires toy with him. Instead, he should be as Allah (the Exalted) said: {Indeed, those who have said, "Our Lord is Allah" and then remained steadfast—the angels will descend upon them, [saying], "Do not fear and do not grieve but receive the good tidings of Paradise, which you were promised"} (Fussilat 30).

Whoever is steadfast [mustaqiman], the angels descend upon him—and they are the possessors of Allah's knowledge. Running [Sa'y] is the diligent effort in seeking the Knowledge of Allah from the People of Knowledge and Gnosis.

And diligence in fulfilling their needs, according to the saying of the Master Messenger (pbuh): "Allah does not cease helping the servant1 as long as the servant is helping his brother."

May Allah establish us upon His knowledge.

"Nor the providing of water,

Nor the touching of remnants [Fudul]2."

The true Providing of Water [Siqaya] is for the Knower to provide for the one who has recognized him, for the sake of Allah the Exalted.
