And he (may Allah sanctify his soul) graced us with the knowledge of the interpretation [taʾwīl] of what is not befitting for the Messengers regarding words and actions in the Heavenly Books, through this table as you see:
Every Noah in the Quran: Sa'd bin Mu'adh |
Every Abraham in the Quran: Ibrahim bin Adhar |
Every Moses in the Quran: Musa bin Ashyam |
Every Jesus in the Quran: 'Isa bin al-Majdalaniyya |
Every Muhammad in the Quran: Muhammad bin Abi Bakr |
He also graced us with what the Luminous Sheikh graced [us] with, in terms of knowing His (the Exalted) intent by mentioning these worldly names with which Allah (the Exalted) addressed in His Mighty Book, while He (Glory be to Him) intends nothing by them except inward luminous persons, as you see.
