Inward is the seeking of science. It says: "Whoever is ill," meaning doubting their affair, "or on a journey," meaning seeking their knowledge, taking from their sciences, and standing upon their righteousness.
His saying: {Then a number of other days}: the Other Days are Salsal [Salman] and the ranks below him. This is in the Inward [Batin]. In the Outward [Zahir], they are the Commander of the Faithful [Ali] and the Imams below him.
His saying: {Allah intends for you ease}, meaning the lightening of what he mandated upon those other than you the knowledge of what you did not previously encompass in science, and which you had not reached since you dwelt among them—those whom we mentioned and named of the Luminous Persons. Ease [Al-Yusr] refers to the Gates [Al-Abwab], and His saying: {And He does not want for you hardship} [Al-'Usr] refers to the shackles, the burdens, and the allegiance to the Imams of Misguidance.
Our Sheikh Abu Abd Allah al-Husayn bin Hamdan al-Khasibi (may Allah brighten his face) mentioned the Month in his treatise, saying:
The month of Ramadan is Abd Allah bin Abd al-Muttalib.
