Every verse in which the name of a prophet among the prophets is mentioned with rebuke and intimidation, such as His saying: {If you should associate [anything with Allah], your work would surely become worthless} (Az-Zumar 65), and His saying: {Did He not find you an orphan and give [you] refuge?} (Ad-Duha 6)—this saying and its like among the verses fall upon the Prophesier, yet the Prophesier is transcendent above them. Their reality falls upon us, because rebuke, intimidation, and command are fitting for us and return to us, as al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: "The Quran was revealed with the meaning of: I mean you, but listen, O neighbor." That is, the verses were revealed as an intimidation for the prophets, while the listening is for us and their application is upon us.

Every verse in which a prophet among the prophets is mentioned in glorification, majesty, and message, it is for the Greatest Name, such as His saying: {And We had certainly given Moses nine signs} (Al-Isra 101), which are: the staff, the white hand, the manifestation of locusts upon Pharaoh and his people, lice, frogs, the flood, blood, and the obliteration when he said: {Our Lord, obliterate their wealth and harden their hearts} (Yunus 88).
