Likewise, whenever the mandate of Zakat falls, the mandates in the Inward for the believers proceed according to the limit of their faith. Among them is he for whom exiting from all his wealth is mandatory, similar to what was mentioned in the hadith regarding outward wealth.
He said: It was narrated regarding the Stations [Al-Maqamat] concerning the saying of Allah: {And those in whose wealth is a recognized right for the petitioner and the deprived} (Al-Ma'arij 24-25).
Esoteric explanation of the verse. Charities are only for the poor and the needy and the workers upon them and those whose hearts are to be reconciled and to free captives and the debtors etc.
The Petitioner [Al-Sā'il] is the one who knows how to ask about what he is answered with—of that which he does not know among the types of jurisprudence [fiqh], mandates [fara'id], and traditions [sunan], which constitute the elevation of degrees in Gnosis [Ma'rifa], Faith [Iman], and Monotheism [Tawhid]. The Deprived [Al-Maḥrūm] is the one who has been deprived of knowing how to ask and how to do so well.
So, the Inward Wealth is Knowledge. For Allah made it the opposite of Outward Wealth.
