And the name of prayer has been applied to every prayer, whether praised or condemned
The name "Prayer" [Salat] has been applied to every prayer, whether praised or censured, just as each of the adherents of these schools applied it to his own prayer. Likewise, the Name of Majesty [Allah]—each of them has made it a name for his object of worship; and measure the rest of the names accordingly. Therefore, Praise [Hamd], Censure [Dhamm], and the "Neglected" [Muhmal] have been applied in His Book (the Exalted) to every name He intended among the worldly names used among people.
Lord Abu Shuaib narrated in the book (The Image and the Parable [Al-Sura wa al-Mithal]), with his chain of narration, that our Master al-Sadiq—peace be upon us from him—said: "Every praised name is specifically a censured name as well. Among these are the Sun and the Moon, which are praised and censured; and the mountains, the trees, the bees, and the beasts—all of these are praised and censured."
I will strike an example for you... It is that the prayers have been subjected to praise and censure in many places, like other praised and censured names in the Quran. This is because every nation among nations named its worship "prayer," whether it was truth or falsehood. The Creator (the Exalted) mentioned in His Book the praised prayer and the censured prayer.
