This indicates that He (the Exalted)—after their persistence in denial, rejection, disbelief, misguidance, plotting, and deception—manifested upon them cloaking and plotting, by proof of His saying (the Exalted):

{And they plotted, and Allah plotted, and Allah is the best of plotters} (Al-Imran 54).

And His saying (the Exalted): {And We would have covered [clothed] them with that which they cover themselves} (Al-An'am 9).

Know, O seeker, that He (the Exalted) mentioned the prayer in all the sent heavenly Books and upon the tongues of the Messengers through reports circulated among nations in many places of the sent Books and others. Each of the people of corrupt schools believes that what is intended by it is their own prayer and none other, just as each of them believes regarding their object of worship that it is the True Lord and none other. Yet Allah (the Exalted) intends by His words and the words of His prophets nothing but one religion and one Lord—which is this Khasibi Inward Religion and the True Manifest Lord, just as He (the Exalted) and His Messengers pointed through these previous and subsequent prayers and other acts of worship from the First Atoms until our time—in the sent Books and other signs pointing toward this Khasibi Religion and Shuaibi School; for they all point to it.
