If Allah had willed to make them according to the numbers of the letters of the names of the Name in a different Dome [cycle], the indication would still point to Allah (the Exalted). This is because all names, letters, and persons point to Allah, as I explained in the chapter on the principles of numbers and letters in (The Religious Jewel [Al-Jawhara al-Diniyya]). The same applies to the month of Ramadan; if He (the Exalted) had willed to make this fast in any other month, the indication would also be point to Allah just like it, because all days, months, hours, and others point to Allah the Exalted. The same is said regarding the veneration of days; for if He (the Exalted) had willed to venerate any day, the indication through it would point to Allah, because all days point to Allah, as we explained regarding the veneration of the Sabbath [Saturday] mentioned recently. The same is said regarding the veneration of the Messengers; for if He (the Exalted) wills the veneration of any Messenger and his preference—like Muhammad—it points to the veneration of all Messengers, because they are all one person. Just as all cosmic parables point to Allah the Exalted, the same is said regarding Infallibility [Isma]; for if He (the Exalted) sanctifies any Messenger from among the Messengers from killing or crucifixion—like Jesus [Isa]—He has pointed us to the infallibility of all Messengers, for they are all one.
