This is supported and clarified by what was cited by the Master Abu Sa'id—the warrior in the path of Allah with his true striving—in the book (The Gnoses), which is a masterpiece for every Gnostic, in the chapter on the prohibition of using Taqiyya among believers and in seclusion or solitude. It was narrated by Abu Abd-Allah al-Husayn ibn Harun al-Sa'igh in some of his works, tracing the chain of narration back to al-Mufaddal ibn Umar, who said:

Three individuals from among the believers came to our Master al-Sadiq—peace be from him—so he settled them in a house of his. Their provision was sent to them every day: three pomegranates. Whatever they desired of other foods, they found it in those three pomegranates. And one their believing brothers. [Another brother] came to them, so they settled him with them in their house. He stayed for three days eating with them from what they ate. When the fourth day came, their brother who had [recently] arrived went out for a need of his. They discussed the matter of their brother—that he had been with them for three days, and the Master knew of him, yet his provision was not being sent.

While they were in their conversation discussing their brother's situation, the Master appeared with them in their house and said to them: "I have known what you are concerned about regarding your brother; he who practices dissimulation [Taqiyya] in private [Al-Khalawat] has no provision from me."
