Luminous Persons while among the Opposites. And just as the Inward Prayer [Al-Salat al-Batina] is not permitted to be disclosed among the Opposites, it is likewise not permitted to declare their Inward Person [Shakhs al-Batin] as being beyond humanity while among the Opposites.

And just as it is mandatory to perform it [the prayer] in private and among the believers [in its inward sense], it is likewise mandatory to sanctify its Luminous Person from "humanity" in private and among the believers—measure for measure and weight for weight.

If it were permissible to establish the outward prayer and perform it in private and among the believers as a matter of faith and belief, that would imply the establishment of humanity upon its [the prayer’s] persons in private and among the believers.

Similarly, if it were permissible for us to refrain from performing it and not establish it among the Opposites [Al-Adhdad], it would have been permissible for us not to establish "humanity" upon its person among the Opposites.

Measure against that the rest of the acts of worship, {except for him who is forced, neither desiring nor transgressing}.
