Among them: the first spring is a spring of milk, which is the spring of the Primordial Nature [Fatra], and that is our Master Muhammad—peace be upon him—through whom is the existence of all creation and from whom is their nourishment. The second is a spring of honey, which is the spring of our Master Salsal [Salman]. The third is of water that is not stagnant, which is the spring of al-Miqdad. The fourth is a spring of wine, a delight to those who drink, which is the spring of Abu Dhar; and he is known by the fruit, the date-palm, and the pomegranate which Allah mentioned in His Book, saying: {In both of them are fruit and palm trees and pomegranates} (Ar-Rahman 68). The "fruit" is Ammar ibn Yasir, the "palm tree" is Abdullah ibn Budayl ibn Warqa, and the "pomegranate" is Abu al-Haytham Malik ibn al-Tayyihan. If the monotheist believer newborn drinks from these seven springs—and his drinking from them is the knowledge of his Imam and his Orphans [Aytam] and the Monotheism of Allah (Blessed and Exalted is He)—then on the seventh day, he shaves his head.
The meaning of his "shaving" is his disclosure [removing] of Taqiyya. After that, he must call to the Monotheism of Allah (Exalted and Majestic) and the Delegation [Tafwid] to the one slain for the sake of Allah and for us in faith—just as the people never ceased, as they were in the time of the Commander of the Faithful [Ali] (peace be from him), calling to his Monotheism; they would respond and shave their heads. The meaning of shaving them is disclosing them [the secrets].
