His (the Exalted) saying: {Allah does not burden a soul except with its capacity} (Al-Baqarah 286).

As for the use of washing the limbs mentioned previously, the wiping of the head, the ablution [Wudu], the bowing [Ruku'], the prostration [Sujud], the standing, the sitting, the loudness [Jahr], the silence [Ikhfat], the raising of the hands in the Takbir, the Adhan, and other requirements of the manifest prayers—each of them has inward meanings. It is not permissible to believe or profess religion except through them, nor to rely on anything but them. For if the reliance were upon these five manifest prayers, we would have been able to dispense with these inward prayers and their requirements which the believers perform in their private retreats and with their pure intentions.

What confirms and supports this is the difference among those famous prayers between the people of the outward schools. This is because the prayer commanded by Moses is contrary to the prayer commanded by Jesus. If their intent had been the outward forms, they would not have differed at all, due to the saying of the Master Messiah [Jesus], peace be from him:

Heaven and earth shall pass away, but not one letter nor one dot shall pass from the Law [Nomos] until all is accomplished."
