And the saying of the Exalted: {And to Allah belong the best names} (Al-A'raf 180).

And His saying: {Honor belongs to Allah entirely} (An-Nisa 139).

And the saying of the Exalted: {Unquestionably, His is the creation and the command} (Al-A'raf 54)."

These names and their like, Allah alone is named with them, and He did not grant them to anyone besides Him. All of them apply to Sayyid Muhammad, from whom is peace, because he is the locus of the names, attributes, and descriptions. The Goal, Mighty and Majestic, no name or attribute applies to Him.

As for the second boundary: it is every name that Allah the Exalted paired with Himself, attributed to it, and established in His place, such as His saying: {Everything is perishing except His Face. To Him belongs judgement, and to Him you will be returned} (Al-Qasas 88).

And His saying: {Blessed is the name of your Lord, Owner of Majesty and Honor} (Ar-Rahman 78).
