Rather, that occurs as an omen among the people of the inward, the Gnostics, regarding the overcoming of the darkness of falsehood—which is the Accursed Opposite—over the person of the Gate upon the manifestation of the Veil through him. This occurs in some regions of the earth through the manifestation of incapacity from him in facing the Opposite, and the occultation by the manifestation of killing, crucifixion, and the consuming of poison, as occurred in the station of Abu al-Khattab—peace be upon him—and others in the purely Name-based and blending stations, such as the station of our Master the Messiah—peace be from him. That is because the manifest moon is a proof of the Gate and the sun is a proof of the Veil.

The meaning of the prayer when that event occurs is the sanctification of them both from what was manifested of that, and the belief in its occurrence upon their opposite. For the explicit remembrance has spoken of that in His (the Exalted) saying, regarding the sanctification of our Master the Messiah—unto him be submission—from the occurrence of that in reality to him, where He says: {And they did not kill him, nor did they crucify him, but [another] was made to resemble him to them} (An-Nisa 157).
