The inward of glorification [Tasbih] in the Bowing [Ruku'] and Prostration [Sujud] is the Gnostic's sanctification of the Gate [Al-Bab] and the Veil [Al-Hijab] from everything through which the people of the temperament perceived them, and magnifying them above the perception of what the understandings grasped of them, and the excellence of sincerity in that toward the True Meaning—Exalted is His Might.
Bowing [Ruku'] was legislated once in every unit [Rak'ah] and Prostration [Sujud] twice because Bowing is the obedience of the Veil [Al-Hijab] to the Meaning, and Prostration is the obedience of both the Veil and the Gate [Al-Bab] to the Meaning—Exalted is His Might. The meaning of Supplication [Qunut] in the void of Bowing is the Gnostic's turning toward his Creator and the prayer and entreaty for the liberation of his soul from the darknesses of temperament that lead him into the obedience of the Opposites [Al-Adhdad].
The inward of Sitting [Al-Julus] in the prayer after the first two units is an indication of the "sitting" of the two Ha's [Hasan and Husayn] from rising in the command after the occultation of the Essential Station, and the surrender of the command to the Accursed Opposite.
