The meaning of "Abu Al-Khattab only emerged to you from our knowledge as an Alif".. The Right Hand (Al-Yamun).
The meaning of "was" is: before the differentiation and the creation of creatures. In it [the face] are five orifices—two eyes, two nostrils, and a mouth—as a proof of the manifestation of the Mim through five persons. The meaning of placing water in your mouth during rinsing (madmadah) is as follows: The mouth is the person of the "Fa" (Fatir/Fatima), and within it is the tongue that speaks the Monotheism (Tawhid) of Allah. From the mouth, all good things emerged—such as the testimony of Tawhid for Allah with the tongue, the recitation of the Quran, and the various arts of sciences. Likewise, from the "Fa," the springs of Pride (Uyun al-Kibriya) burst forth, which are the three "Ha's" (al-Hasan, al-Husayn, and al-Muhsin).
It was related that the Springs of Pride are the line of the Imamate, and the tongue is the person of the "Fa," which is the "Mim" (Muhammad). As for snuffing water into the nose (istinshaq), it is a proof of taking the entirety of knowledge from the two "Ha's"; by knowing them, Monotheism is validated for you, and you have inhaled the scent of eternal life.
As for washing your hands to the elbows, they represent the persons of the two Orphans. The right hand is a proof of al-Miqdad, and the left hand is a proof of Abu Dharr.
