The censured gods: they are those claimed besides Allah and they are the leaders of injustice; likewise, everyone who worshiped other than Allah and took refuge with a god besides Him. That is because you see one among the creation pointing toward Allah though he has not known Allah, according to His saying the Exalted said: {And if you asked them, "Who created the heavens and the earth?" they would surely say, "Allah." Say, "[All] praise is [due] to Allah"; but most of them do not know} (Luqman 25).
