Do they wait for anything except its Ta'wil (interpretation)? The Day its Ta'wil comes...} (Al-A'raf 50–53) those who forgot it before will say, "{Our Lord's messengers had come with the truth. Are there now any intercessors to intercede for us, or could we be sent back so we might do other than what we used to do?"} (Al-A'raf 53).

Similar to this is what was recorded on the authority of Master Jesus (peace be upon him) in the fourth chapter of the Gospel of John, which is: He came to a city of Samaria called Sychar, near the plot of ground that Jacob had given to his son Joseph. Jacob’s well was there. Since Jesus was tired from the journey, he sat down by the well. It was about the sixth hour. A Samaritan woman came to draw water, and Jesus said to her, "Give me a drink." (For his disciples had gone into the city to buy food.) The Samaritan woman said to him, "How is it that you, being a Jew, ask for a drink from me, a Samaritan woman?" (For Jews do not associate with Samaritans.) Jesus answered and said to her, "If you knew the gift of God and who it is that says to you, 'Give me a drink,' you would have asked him, and he would have given you living water."
