Ta'yid, on the authority of the Master al-Sadiq, by his saying: A question regarding a man, if he has intercourse with his wife, does he become impure or not?
The answer from our Master al-Sadiq: Indeed, the believer does not become impure as long as faith is in his heart. However, if he comes into contact with any excrement, let him wash with water, for it washes the exterior of the body but does not wash the heart from doubt and confusion.
Similarly, he also bestowed favor upon us by saying: A question regarding Imam Ja'far al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) involving a man whom the Imam wanted to place his hand upon. The man was averse to sticking close to al-Sadiq (peace be upon him), so he said to him: "What is the matter with you, being averse?" The man said: "I am in a state of ritual impurity (janab)." Al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: "Indeed, the believer is free from filth and impurity; so long as faith is in his heart and doubt is removed from his chest, he is forever pure."
