The People of Monotheism established Tuesday—which indicates triality (Al-Tathlith) —as Miqdad, who is the First Orphan. This is to indicate that the Exalted made it a parable for the formation of the Greatest Orphan and his rank, and the manifestations of the Meaning, the Name, and the Gate to him.

Just as it is the third of the days, the Greatest Orphan is the third of the created beings [after the Name and the Gate]. The manifestation of the Creator to him is the third of the manifestations, his gaze toward his Master is the third of the gazes, his call to Him is the third of the calls, and his response to Him is the third of the responses.

It was said: it was made the third of the days to serve as a proof for the ranks preceding it, which are the Meaning, the Name, and the Gate.

It was also said: to indicate their three manifestations to him.
