The proof of this is what we see of His luminous manifestations—which are specifically for the worlds of light—according to our human, murky, and fleeting measure. These are nothing other than His human manifestations that He showed to us. He made a parable for everything, lasting as long as the creation established for them. That parable is to indicate the previous manifestations; were it not for that, we would never have known anything about them.

This is supported by what was mentioned in the third chapter of Ecclesiastes (Al-Jami'ah): "I know that everything God does will endure forever; nothing can be added to it and nothing can be taken from it; and that God has done it so that men should fear before Him. That which is, already has been from pre-eternity; and that which is to be, already has been from pre-eternity; and God seeks out what has passed.

This is confirmed by what the Scholar stated in the book Al-Asus (The Foundations), saying:

"The Ancient Essence (Al-Jawhar al-Qadim) moves through all forms to remind and alert [the seekers] of His Oneness, and to indicate His pre-eternity, His Lordship, and other than that."
