the Worshiped Meaning, shows Manifestation through Primacy, just as His name is applied to the first of the days—knowing that this temporal day is only like other days and was only given the name Al-Ahad to indicate the Orderly Manifestation.

That is, to indicate that His existence—the Exalted—to His Veil, which is the first manifestation of the first of beings, is indeed the Worshiped Ahad, whom the Veil cannot see except through the attribute of Veil-ness, the form of Oneness (Wahidiyya), and the quality of Name-ness (Ismiyya). The attribute, the form, and the quality through which he [the Veil] sees his God are located upon him—that is, upon his station as the Name—not upon his Worshiped God, who has never departed from His being even if He appeared to his sight, just as He is the one capable of showing His essence to His creatures as He wills, and He is the High, the Great.

This is because, were it not for Him [the Name/Veil], He—the Exalted—would not show His essence through an attribute, form, or quality. The proof of this is that before His [the Name's] formation, there was no attribute, form, image, or quality.
