Among the sayings mentioned regarding the personification of the days is what the liberating scholar Shihab al-Din Ahmad Bakhtiyar, the King of Daylam (may Allah sanctify his soul), mentioned in his poem:

Then the persons of the seven days

Sunday is the "Mim," the Lord of Bounties

Monday is completed in full

By Salman, the Lord of Generosity and Honor

The Guide of creation to His hidden secret

Then Tuesday is Master al-Miqdad

The Possessor of Generosity, Support, and Guidance

And Wednesday is the Glorious and Generous

I mean Abu Dharr, the one of helping hands

When he pelted the accursed with pebbles

Then Thursday is the person of Abd Allah

Ibn Rawahah, the proud Master

And Friday is Uthman—do not be heedless
