All of these are parables and signals to indicate the manner of the origination of the servants of Allah the Exalted, their arrangement, their stations, and their knowledges, from the Greatest Name (al-Ism al-A'zam) to the furthest reaches of the worlds of Light down to our earthly world.

Therefore, the People of Oneness (Ahl al-Tawhid) clarified for us the Persons (Ashkhas) of the days, nights, months, hours, and others, so that you may know that every day, hour, or month has been made a parable to indicate the luminous person symbolized by it, and also to indicate the manifestation of his Master to him according to his capacity. The variation in the narrations of the People of Oneness regarding this "Personification" (Tashkhis) follows the same course as the variation of the Messengers regarding the laws—meaning it appears to be by way of opposition and contradiction, as Christ (peace be upon him) said: "I did not come to destroy but to fulfill."

Among what appeared in the books of Monotheism regarding the variation of the aspects of personification—which denote completion and reminding—is what our master Abu Sa'id (may Allah sanctify his soul) informed us about regarding the variation of the personification of the seven days in the book (Al-Ma'arif), saying: "As for the seven days, opinions have differed regarding their personification."
