replied: 'Did you doubt Allah or disbelieve in His knowledge?' I said: 'No, my Master, but rather to increase my knowledge and my soul.' He said: 'In eating meat there is obedience, and the marriage of women is an obligation (Fard), and drinking what was forbidden of the "water of the grape" is the completion of gratitude for the blessing and the sanctification of the Word (Taqdis al-Kalimah)—when it is with the brothers. Yes, it is lawful for you with yourselves, and forbidden for you with others.' Then he said: 'Praise be to Allah.'"

And among them is the saying of the Exalted:

{There will be circulated among them a cup [of wine] from a flowing spring, White and delicious to the drinkers.} (As-Saffat: 45-46).

And the saying of the Exalted:

{They are given to drink of a sealed, pure wine, the last of it is musk. So for this let the competitors compete.} (Al-Mutaffifin: 25-26).

And the saying of the Exalted:

{...and rivers of wine delicious to those who drink.} (Muhammad: 15).
