is food for the sinful. Like murky oil, it boils within bellies, like the boiling of scalding water.} (Ad-Dukhan: 43-46).
And similar to it is His Almighty's saying in Surat As-Saffat: {Is that a better accommodation or the tree of Zaqqum? Indeed, We have made it a torment for the wrongdoers. Indeed, it is a tree issuing from the bottom of the Hellfire, its emerging fruit as if it was heads of the devils. And indeed, they will eat from it and fill with it their bellies. Then indeed, they will have after it a mixture of scalding water. Then indeed, their return will be to the Hellfire.} (As-Saffat: 62-68).
And similar to it is what He Almighty pointed to regarding the prohibition of blameworthy foods as well, by His saying: {Prohibited to you are dead animals, blood, the flesh of swine, and that which has been dedicated to other than God, and [those animals] killed by strangling or by a violent blow or by a headlong fall or by the goring of horns, and those from which a wild animal has eaten, except what you [are able to] slaughter [before its death], and those which are sacrificed on stone altars.} (Al-Ma'idah: 3).
And similar to it is what He Almighty pointed to regarding the blaming of exoteric actions (al-A'mal al-Zahirah) and their prohibition in Surat Yunus, saying: {And if they deny you, then say, "For me are my deeds, and for you are your deeds. You are disassociated from what I do, and I am disassociated from what you do."} (Yunus: 41).
