circumambulation of the angels around it; and whatever is similar to that among the examples of the mortal worldly forms.

And that is so the meaning of His Almighty's address in the revealed books—through the names falling upon the apparent forms—may become ambiguous/confusing (yushtabah) to the disbelievers, and that is out of justice from Him Almighty. And He has informed in His Mighty Book about their insistence upon disbelief and their lack of faith by His saying: {Indeed, those who disbelieve - it is all the same for them whether you warn them or do not warn them - they will not believe.} (Al-Baqarah: 6).

And so the believers may know the realities of the secrets of the religion from the explicitness (Sarih) of those names and forms which the people of the exoteric (Ahl al-Zahir) use and by which they profess their religion. Thus, the explicit declaration (al-Tasrih) may be a mercy for the believers due to their belief in what God Almighty intends for them of the esoteric gnoses and persons (al-Ma'arif wa al-Ashkhas al-Batinah), and a torment for the disbelievers due to their belief [only] in what the prophets and legatees (al-Awsiya') manifested of establishing the apparent forms represented by the esoteric meanings.

Just as He Almighty alluded to this meaning by His saying: {So a wall will be struck between them with a door, its interior containing mercy, but on the outside of it is torment.} (Al-Hadid: 13).
