Allah, Glory be to Him, has named a creation from the Worlds of Light "suns," "moons," and "stars " and mountains, trees, and beasts, according to the saying of the Exalted in Surah Al-Hajj: {Do you not see that to Allah prostrates whoever is in the heavens and whoever is on the earth, and the sun, the moon, the stars, the mountains, the trees, and the beasts} (Al-Hajj 18).

And if His purpose—Glory be to Him—were these earthly mountains, trees, and beasts, the address would be void, because we never see them prostrating to Allah at all; and [furthermore] they would then be praised, for the one who prostrates to Allah is praised.

And Allah has named the believers "mountains" according to His saying, the Exalted: {If We had sent down this Quran upon a mountain, you would have seen it humbled and coming apart from fear of Allah. And these examples We present to the people that perhaps they will give thought} (Al-Hashr 21).

And if His purpose by "the Quran" were this exoteric Book, or by "the mountain" one of these earthly mountains, it would be a void statement; for if we were to place thousands of copies of the Quran upon all these earthly mountains, they would never come apart nor be humbled, but would remain as they are.

And that is none other than His saying regarding the Sacred House: {And whoever enters it shall be safe} (Al ‘Imran 97).
