In whom the possessor of intellect went astray until he worshipped him.

The Chosen Prophet told us

On the Night of Ascension (Mi'raj) when he ascended:

"Allah placed His hand upon my back

And the heart felt that He had cooled it.

And Ali is the one placing his feet

In the very place where Allah placed His hand.

And may Allah reward the excellence of Al-Muntajab al-‘Ani, may Allah sanctify him, for his saying in verse:

A youth in whom all Meanings have been gathered While not a single one of his Meanings exists within the creation.

And a brother in God related to me that he visited the Shrine in Najaf al-Ashraf and read this verse of poetry on one of the walls of the Shrine:

A people have said of you, while the veil was yet before them

That you are a Lord; how then, if the veil were to be lifted?

And He, the Exalted, alluded to him in His Mighty Book in many verses, including His saying in Surah Ya-Sin: {Indeed, it is We who bring the dead to life and record what they have put forth and their
