Verily, this is your Object of Worship throughout the ages.

“Verily, this is a Lord for you, so declare His Oneness He is exalted above resemblance or peer.

“Verily, this is a Guarding, Eternal, Single One

And this is the Creator of the beginning of origination.”

“And He is the First, the Ancient; He is the Last

He is the Hidden without [outer] manifestation.

“And He is the Manifest who was never absent

At all, from the Gnostic, the Knowing, the Acquainted.

“And He is the Giver of Life, the Bringer of Death; He is the Resurrector

And the Inheritor, the Repeater of cycles.

“And He is the Merciful, the [Granter of] eternity in the Gardens

The One who casts his enemy into the Blaze.”

“And I am His servant, the Messenger unto you

With a revealed, inscribed Book.

“He said: Convey from Me to My servants that I

Am their Master and the Best of helpers.

“But I feared for you, lest you go astray
