The One manifest from the eye of the sun; the Seizer of every soul, the Destroyer of the first generations and the One who makes the later ones follow them; the Raiser of the heavens and the Expander of the earths; the Supporter of His near-stationed friends (awliya') and the Exalter of His chosen ones, the people of religion; the Resurrector of all the dead, and the One who returns the sun repeatedly upon the worlds; the one Manifest as the Anza’ Bateen (the one freed from polytheism and full of knowledge).

And You, O Lord of lords, Master of necks, and Restorer of the domes; the God of gods and the Compeller of tyrants; You neither beget nor are born, nor is there to You any equivalent.

This is Allah, the Most High, your Lord—so worship Him; and your God—so declare His Oneness. This is your God, so worship Him; and this is your Creator, so obey him; and this is your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers. He has called you to Himself, and His Self has called to Him. He has manifested to you of His power that which necessitated your intimacy with Him and your listening to Him; He charged you with that and conveyed the message to you; {so a party will be in Paradise and a party in the Blaze} (Al-Shura 7).
