Truthful was the one who said to them: "Had you known Allah, you would not have worshipped Him; and had you known Iblis, you would not have cursed him."
As for the purpose of explicit declaration (al-tasrih), it is for the instruction of the believers and the establishment of proof against the disbelievers. By the success granted by Allah, I shall cite what is available, and the evidence for it is what He, the Exalted, informed us by His saying: {Then indeed, I invited them publicly. Then I announced to them and I confided to them secretly} (Nuh 8-9).
And among the explicit sayings in revelation (al-kashf) is what the Prophet (peace be upon him) said in the sermon of the Allegiance of the House (Bay'at al-Dar), where he said:
"I call you to Ali by a command from Him; beware of doubt and desertion."
"Lo, indeed my Prophethood is under the Guardianship (wilaya) of Ali."
"Lo, indeed Ali has prophesied me to you; lo, indeed I was created from the Light of Ali."
"Lo, indeed Ali taught me the Quran. Lo, indeed Ali sent me to you."
"Lo, indeed Ali is my Lord and your Lord. Lo, indeed Ali dispatched me to you."
