"You have heard that it was said to the ancients: 'Do not murder,' and whoever murders will be liable to judgment. But I say to you: 'Indeed, whoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be liable to judgment.'

And in the sixth chapter of the Gospel of Matthew as well: 'And forgive us our sins, just as we also forgive those who sin against us. And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.. For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.'

And it is not hidden from you, O believing masters, what was narrated from the Master (al-Mawla) al-Sadiq, from him is mercy, in the narration of the book of the Taliqani Jewel (al-Jawharah al-Taliqaniyyah), when a man from his followers (Shi'ah) came to him speaking words finding fault in his [brother], and his [al-Sadiq's] saying to him: "You should abandon speaking against your brother for three reasons: As for one of them, perhaps you mention him for what is [also] in you; so what is your thought regarding your Lord if you mention your brother for what is present in you?

Or perhaps you mention him for a matter, while in you is what is greater than it, so by that speech you become more deserving of our detestation of you.
