without a husband, it is to indicate the transcendence (tanzīh) of all the Executors (Awṣiyāʾ), Prophets, and the Worlds of Light above [physical] lineages.
Just as (the clearing of the Messiah from the crucifixion) is to indicate the transcendence of all the Executors and the stations of the Worlds of Light above death, killing, and all natural states.
Disbelief (kufr) has been established upon the People of the Outward (Ahl al-Ẓāhir) because of their belief in those exemplary, resembling images (al-ṣuwar al-mathaliyya al-shabīha). They affirmed the crucifixion for the Messiah and [the accusation of] adultery for Mary, [believing] that she is a female possessing what a female possesses. They said that the Messiah is a son of adultery and that he is a human who ate and drank and so on, just as they affirmed humanity and its states for all the Executors, Prophets, and the Worlds of Light.
Whereas the People of Monotheism (Ahl al-Tawḥīd) have established that all of that is depiction and parables (taṣwīr wa amthāl) to indicate those inward meanings (al-maʿānī al-bāṭina).
